Can I get some advice please.

I wanna run 2 elite squads.
1x 20 man true born squad with 4 blasters.
1x 4 incubi in a venom

I have 2 HQs an archon and a hemonculi. What HQ would you put with each squad?
Or would you run 2 of the same hq?

Plan is to give them both a webway portal.
So I can drop them behind enemy lines.

Archon with the incubi to make even more choppy.

Haemonculi with the trueborn, although i'd put have 10 in a raider

Im wondering myself what is the better HQ to run with a dark eldar list?

Also which is the most fun only played 2 games in 7th

I like the succubus for AP2, but only having a 6+ out of combat is naf

The *only* reason I can see for taking an archon is for the WWP. The succubus is better in every other way.

Archon all the way if you want style, gives you access to the Court too, which is just so much fun.

To answer the OP question, i would always run the Archon with the Incubi and the Haemonculus with the Trueborn.

Always go with the Webway Portals for two reasons, they are fun and fluffy, plus deadly with the right units.

In larger point games, 1750pts or more, i run both HQs with the Portals, the Archon with his Court in a Venom and the Haemonculus with a unit of 5 Grotesques, so many Liquifier guns, it is a joy to watch.

Succubus is also a way, way better model

Got to disagree, the Succubus is all flash where as the Archon is more subtle with that nice look of im better then all you Mon-keigh, i just love that model.

I do like taking the Succubus sometimes though, just so i can call the Space Marine players cowards hiding behind their armour, real warriors go to war in latex!
