Hello everyone, I had a simple stupid question: Do fortifications take up a detachment?

I was of the mindset that they took up a fortification detachment, but upon thinking about it I hadn't heard of this outside of BattleScribe, so do they take a detachment for purposes of the 2 source rule that tournaments have been implementing?

Some Detachments have these, some don't.
