Hello, this is a sort of fun list I want to run on our weekly gaming night. Not looking for super competitive but don't want to get crushed either.

Think this will do ok? I know I am playing against GK for sure. Also probably against IG or something with a superheavy.

There is literally nothing in your list that you could not do better with vanilla.

Well I don't have vanilla marines but elaborate. What chapter tactic?

Glossing over Gold's negativity:

The Chaplain load out isn't legal - either he's a Chaplain, in which case he can't take Terminator Armour, or he's an Interrogator-Chaplain, in which case he can't take Lightning Claws in Terminator Armour. I wouldn't recommend the Claws anyway, you can get the Mace of Redemption for the equivalent of a pair of Claws, S7 > S4 with Shred IMHO.

Saying that you'e expecting a Superheavy, you're not really tooled to deal with it - no Podded Melta, no Chainfists, 2/3rds of your Melta (S'raven and squad inside) doesn't even turn up until T2 at best.

I do like the Tacticals in Rhinos, and run similar units, but maybe put a Plas squad in the S'raven and give the Melta squad a Pod?

this list isnt legal because of the caplains loadout. it simply isnt possible, it could also be that he ment company master which is another possibility i guess but chaplains cant take TDA without buying into an interrogator chaplain first.

you have absolutely no way of fighting a superheavy at all, your relying on two melta's thats all.. beyond that this list is incredibly bland and lacks variety. when building a list think about unit synergy, what units mix well togeather. its okay to pick flat choices but comboing units togeather is what the dark angels excel at.

in my 1500pts list im packing some impressive stuff that many folks wont expect. i was playing against AM earlier and i had more tanks than he bloody did
