**Reality-Torrent**

So I finally decided to paint the dual lightning claw guy from the DV box. Now I'm wondering if any of you have any suggestions on how to paint the claws! Do you have any pictures of awesome looking lightning claws you might want to share? =)

DV included a dual lightning claws guy?

I've always been preferential to blue power weapons that blend to white at the tip.

@Steelreign -- Reality-Torrent must mean DV expansion, I think? DV box includes assault cannon and storm bolter guys. DV expansion comes with deathwings sprues.

@Reality-Torrent -- check out the December 13 White Dwarf, Page 2

The lighting claws there are really well done (they look like the power sword on the Space Hulk Sergeant Lorenzo).

the standard Dark Vengeance box comes with a dual lightning claw chaos chosen.

There is a chosen with dual lightning claws in the DV box =)

I actually coward out.. Went pure leadbelcher.. But I'll take a look at that picture if I can find it!

I go for silver, or gold blades on power weapons.

Mask off the rest of the model with a latex glove too

I did mine with Leadbelcher, then Ironbreaker towards the end, and the very tip in white.

Cheap e-bay air brush + cheap Harbor Freight compressor = easy lightning claws and power weapons.

Airbrush white over light blue over dark blue for the easy option, otherwise you can take a little longer and blend the colours upwards. Edge highlight the blade edges with white. Voila
