Alarming title, I know. Hear me out. So a couple of years ago I picked up WH40K for the cool looking models. After a few months of careful thought and a lot of reading on Lexicanum, Chaos became my favorite faction. The stories about them make them look cool! Then this year I expanded my interests in demons into a new game I started playing, Magic the Gathering. I became so interested in demons that, for giggles, I Googled Satanism to see what its all about...

I went ahead and bought the Satanic Bible written by Anton LaVey, and it turns out Atheistic Satanism is a very agreeable form of humanitarianism!

It promotes:
1) Personal satisfaction
2) Sexual freedom (Most religions make sex something to be ashamed of, but Satanism promotes it as something fun and something we are hard-wired to do, as we are animals just like dogs, cats, etc)
3) Self-Empowerment and improvement
4) Profound amounts of love to those who deserve it
5) Great wrath and anger to those who deserve it
6) Humans thrive on ceremony, dogma, and fantasy, so here are some fun rituals but remember they won't actually do anything.

It has nothing to do with:
1) Killing people
2) Orgies
3) Summoning demons
4) Worshiping a deity

Who would have thought that playing a table top game would turn me into a Satanist?
