Hi guys. Trying a Tau Empire list without any lego suits (was tired of seeing everyone field them, decided to try to be a Tau Hipster). Tell me what you think of it:

Drop the pathfinders entirely and the hammerheads. Take 3 skyrays if you don't want broadsides and riptides(fire base support cadre is what I'm getting at here).

Double down on the ethereal and drop the cadre fireblade. They put out that area buff.

Take sniper drone teams if not 3 skyrays, why? They also benifit from the ethereal.

Give all your vehicles disruption pods.

One last thing don't be a "hipster" in any sense. Those people are fething lame.

Without fusion blasters you will have a very tough time dealing with av 13-14. I suppose that's what your hammerheads were for but 1 shot sucks something awful. I would just pray you don't see any real tanks.

Would Piranha then be an option for fusion blaster ?
