Hey guys, So i was putting together my first drop pod and wanted to be able to use either weapon it came with because i think that the missile pod is cool, but i hardly ever equip it.

So I got creative and magnetized it.
Have people done this a lot already?
I felt like Albert Einstein when i was making it, so I thought I would share in case anyone else is at this dilemma and can't figure it out.

P.S. Sorry the images are so huge

the work in progress
they are 1/8" magnets

and how it looks put together.
The gap between the 2 storm bolter pieces is actually quite minimal especially considering its nearly impossible to see during the game anyway.

nice work, I did this with mine, much the same way.

I did have grand ideas of magnetising the doors with some clever release button.. but it proved too fiddly at the time.

Anyone know how to make the doors pop open at the press of a button?

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!
