I'll be transitioning down to San Angelo, TX in April next year, figured I'd start scouting out and see what the 40k landscape is like

Dallas, Houston, & Austin all have really strong gaming groups. I know Killeen next to the Ft Hood area also has a good group.
As far as middle-west Texas im not sure whats out there, hope you find a good group.

The 40k gaming group here is pretty small i know when i first got here to San Antonio i could barely find a game. Most of the big 40k war gamers around here play at there own places that i meet through working at the base.
I usually drive up to Abilene every Saturday they have a far larger gaming group that comes out to play at there gaming store.If you want to meet up and play i am all down for it.
just ask if you want more info.

Hey, there's a gamestore here by the name of Specialties that stocks 40k but I'd be lying if I Could tell you how active 40k is there(i know they play a lot of flames of war). But there's a lot of folks aroud here that have armies. Heck I still have some black Templars and I haven't played 40k in 5 years. Good luck and hopefully you find some guys playing 40k when you go in.
