Hey Dakka,
Trying my hand a fantasy and fantasy terrain. Need more practice but really enjoyed myself! Ended up giving this to a mate for his birthday. He loves Discworld (who doesn't!?!?) and introduced me to it about 15 years ago.
Any comments/advice/suggestions around the base would be appreciated.

Nice. Carrot has been one of my favorites since he first appeared (up there with Cohen, and only just behind Death as one of the best Discworld characters). The hints that he could be either that naive or really one deep Machiavellian bastard who has everyone snowballed is great.

May I suggest a light wash on his toe and finger nails?
It looks like he has white nail polish on currently.
Otherwise excellent work on the model and the base.

As a huge discworld fan myself, I whole heartedly approve of this project, and look forward to seeing it in person at some point

Aye. I have Death and The Librarian in the paint queue currently. I reckon Cohen might get a go too! He's one of my faves! Maybe after Rincewind and The Luggage.

Thanks! Yeah.... they do stand out a bit, huh? Will keep it in mind for next time..they are hard as they are so TINY!

Hey!! Thanks! Did you make it to Pubhammer tonight? It's my off-week so might catch you next week? Unfortunately, Carrot is at his new home in Kingaroy. :( All I have left are the photos and memories *sheds tear*
