With so many datasheets now that completely change the Tyranids and add more units to SW, CSM, BA and Orks... are people still restricting these? I've been using 'the google' to find tournament rules and 6 months ago it seems like it was common to ban datasheets or restrict them to one per army.

Nowadays, i'd really like to run a Combined Arms Detachment with Raphen's Death Company and Cassor the Damned as troops so I can use my all DC army. I'd also like to ally in an Assassin and an Imperial Knight but 6 months ago it seems every tournament limited armies to 2 sources. I guess what I'm asking is, are TOs going to start allowing players to make armies the way the 7th edition rulebook envisions them anytime soon? Do you think the datasheets from Stormclaw and Deathstorm and whatnot should be legal in most events?

Most tournaments are not allowing 'anything goes' army building as per the 7th edition BrB because it makes for stupid cheesey armies (how about 5 drop pods each with 3 grav centurions landing on turn 1 in an 1850 game?) which do not make for fun games. Dataslates are commonly allowed as one of the allowed 'sources' though.
