I'm currently assembling my first army in almost 10 years and have 4 boxes of Ork warbikers to assemble. Just as an assembly question... does anyone bother trying to model their warbikers with a slugga and choppa? Their outfitting list includes these two items which (please correct me if I'm wrong here) but due to this they will receive an extra attack on the charge due to having two melee weapons (pistol and CC weapon). Has anyone ever had gripes from opponents reference this and WYSIWYG? I never see anyone bothering to put a slugga either holstered or held on a warbiker model, is it just taken for granted that they get the extra attack?

In my experience. Since there isn't any other option, the modeling is optional. Though I have always found it pleasing to see holstered pistols on ork/marine bikes.

Not modeling related - they get the extra attack in close combat in subsequent turns to the charge as well as the first turn.

Rules-wise, absolutely correct.

But it's not difficult to model a slugga and ccw strapped somewhere on a bike (or rider), and doing so adds a bit of modelling variety which is always good with orks, so I'd encourage it.
