As it does not roll to-hit, roll a D6 before rolling the D3. On a "1" it wouldnt fire.

OK didnt know if the D6 was a roll to hit (now looking at it its a roll of how many hit)

Nope, the D3 is the roll of how many hits you get, not aD6

On a similar note, if you fire the Phased Plasma-flamer as a Heavy 2 in Overwatch, do you generate 2d3 or just d3 hits?

Each template weapon generates D3, so it would only be D3 for the Phased Plasma-flamer.

If you had 2 of them, then you would have 2D3 (there has been some debate)

if it is a heavy 2 weapon it would generate 2 D3 hits as it is a template weapon that fires twice.

Wall of death specifies weapon, from memory. How many weapons fired?

Yup, Wall of Death doesn't care how many shots the weapon normally fires. If it's a Template weapon, it gets D3 hits in Overwatch.

As above, 1 weapon is 1 set of D3 for Wall of Death. Even if you have 5 shots.

Having 2 weapons, however, is 2 sets of D3, if the model can fire them normally (Walker, MC, or Gunslinger rule)

RaW:"if a Template weapon fires Overwatch, it automatically inflicts D3 hits on the charging unit"
