I've found Dropzone Commander and Infinity to fill these scales for when I feel like playing scifi games, and I have Warmachine and Hordes for when I want to play something a little different with really solid rules. I'd like to find some good fantasy themed games at both army and skirmish scale with their own model ranges. Any recommendations?

Freeblades is fun, is a small scale skirmish game.

It's not complete yet But Norsgard is a solid game. They just has a kickstarter.

For army scale there is Kings of War.

Skirmish scale you have Godslayer, Bushido and Darklands

Also Freebooters Fate if you fancy a pirate skirmish game.

I'd second Kings of War. Second ed rules are in the works, and should be out by July (according to their just finished kickstarter).

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

As mentioned above, I'm heard that Mantic's Kings of War scales pretty broadly in terms of model count. I've heard the same thing about LOTR/five armies from GW. I've never played either personally so season this second hand info with salt as needed.

Honestly, if you like the aesthetics, I'd wait until Wrath of Kings from CMoN comes out.

The game was specifically designed to scale from small skirmishes to large army sized battles. Super fun game. Much better models than Kings of War, IMO.

Plus, who doesn't like thick barbarian warrior chicks with bunny ears and pasties for armor?

Doesn't seem to be much out there, which seems to run opposite to how popular fantasy is with mainstream media. I'd love to see a Game of Thrones skirmish game!

I strongly recommend not bothering to find minis and rules from the same company. If you happen to find one company that does both, that's great, but there's really no reason to do so. There are far to many great lines of fantasy minis for our club to limit ourselves to one line.

I've got a few games that the club enjoys. Many of my miniatures are used across all of them. Though two of them have minis lines, are all either generic or easily adaptable to any miniatures you have.

Our Favorites.
Warband Skirmish (6-12 minis per side)- Song of Blades and Heroes. Very flexible, lots of fun and easy to learn. Cheap too as an $8 PDF.

Platoon Skirmish (15-30 minis per side)- Of Gods and Mortals. Ostensibly a mythic game, but it works great for fantasy. Based on the SBH engine with some nice additions. Published by Osprey as a very nice small full-color book. It does tend to bog down quite a bit when you play with more than two players though.

Company level game (60-120 minis per side)- Kings of War. A really strait-forward game that rewards tactics and maneuver. Lots of army lists and a relatively flexible allies system makes it possible to build armies of virtually any fantasy trope. It has been my experience though, that it only really gets humming at 1000 points or more. Small games just don't usually have enough units to make for interesting tactical choices.

Of Gods and Mortals and Kings of War do have dedicated miniatures lines, Song of Blades does not

Other games.
-Wrath of Kings does look great. A couple of my friends have bought in for the KS (I think their minis just arrived?), mostly intending to use the minis for Kings of War.
-Reaper minis' "Warlord" is a much overlooked game at about the platoon level with a really great selection of minis. A fair number of the Warlord minis have come out in Bones versions as well so there are some bargains to be had.
-GW LoTR Strategy Battle Games. It's ridiculously overpriced now, but the minis are good, the rules are good and you can often find good deals on ebay.
