I'm still reading the endtimes stuff but are there rumours as to new archaon rules?

Nope, not a word on Archaon. If there were new rules, everyone but Chaos players would be in an uproar over them, if we go by the recent End Times Special Characters.

Book 4 is going to be skaven.

It is largely unknown what book 5 will be about. There are rumors that book 5 of end times is the last, there are other rumors that suggest GW is gong to continue with it as it's been a very big hit with the fans of the game.


I wouldn't be surprised if Archaon shows up somewhere. To say nothing of the other 3 chaos gods.


Also he does put in an appearance in book 2. He has a talk with Kairos where Kairos tells him he needs to be wary of someone who is not a mortal man. Lots of people have different interpretations of this ; Karl Franz Ascended, Malekith, etc etc.

The 5th book will be End Times: Archaon im sure, as he is the big bad in the story, its (nearly) everyone else vs Chaos in general.

Its also mentioned in the 2nd book that his forces have set sail.

I sure hope he turns up.

As long as he's costed appropriately he should be the most powerful model in the game. Him or Nagash.

I expect something like 12 attacks with Heroic Killing Blow. Unfortunately GW will forget to give him ASF, so the new Tyrion will roflstomp him

He's currently up north marshaling his forces. He sent a 3 pronged attack on Altdorf in glottkin which was basically his first strike.

Book IV is skaven and may see the timeline move forward or it may be like khaine & show the timeline we already have from a different area. It's rumoured book 5 will be Archaon and see his full invasion.

Remember that the books are happening in the same time scale so it's not a sequential thing.

The thing is, if book 5 is archaon, then that one can't be sequential, as he'll still be up north just moments after his chit chat with Kairos. Unless there's a long interlude, he should already be in transit now. It was sort of hinted that Glottkin and Spume were his vanguard. A vanguard that decimated half the empire.

Was it only hinted, i thought it was quite clear in the second book that his army is leaving, as im sure it mentioned boats with the symbol of the Three Eyed King setting sail and that the Glottkin invasion was just to weaken the Empire for Archaon to give the killing blow himself.
