What would be the suggestions to compliment Daemons with some Dark Eldar allies?
I'm looking at summoning mostly and would like to have additional forward threats and some form of Anti Air.
All suggestions welcome.

Your going to want your Dark Eldar to arrive from reserve, so you can avoid ''1 Eye Open'' during deployment. So that leaves you with the basic troop tax of 5 Warriors in a Venom with double cannons, 110pts. Your goal is to get a bit of Anti-Air? Well then you'll want to get your hands on a Void Raven (Also handy to evaporating Terminators/Paladins) because those two Lance-Cannons (It's a Las-Cannon, with lance!) should put a dent in most fliers going around.
So that is troops and Heavy done, fast attack just HAS to go to Scourges, Daemons have very little ranged anti-tank, isn't that right. For 120pts those Scourges drop 4 Haywire shots at 24'' a turn, they have the ability to destroy a Land Raider in one go! Always a good buy to Deepstrike. And for that Threat you where talking about, a unit of 3/4 Grotesques lead by a HQ of your choice (they all work) using a Webway Portal to Deepstrike without scatter just were your opponenent doesn't want them, means they are a threat to big to ignore!

The bomber is WAY too expensive for what it does. Save 60 points and go Razorwing Jetfighter instead. For foreward threat try out the "Dark Artisan" formation. It's a deepstriking unit consisting of a Cronos, a Talos and a Haemunculus. Majority Toughness 7, with 3+ armour save and 4+ Feel No Pain. These will definately soak up a great deal of firepower.

I'd also look at the Reavers for FA. They too can threaten AV 13, as well as chase down super-mobile infantry.
The Grotesquerie is another power choice. It brings 2 grot units (which lets you bring two anti- tank dark lances or two anti-terminator disintegrators) without making you pay a troop tax.
A haywire or splinter-equipped Corpsethief might be tasty too. Some valuable ranged support, plus 5 more MCs, can definitely overload a lot of armies. It might struggle versus high poison armies (ironically, Dark Eldar), but it would be viable against pretty much everything.

I have a few ideas regarding DE and Daemons, no one seems to be on the same track here either.

Wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts dude.
I really want to run something a little different to what others are doing with Daemons at the moment.
Currently I'm messing around with Nids and Daemons but would really like to understand what Dark Eldar have to offer.
Might go pick up the Codex later.

Reavers don't compare in this circumstance. Yes, they are fast and mobile and deadly and synergise well with the other Daemon Fast attacks, but you know what synergises better? MORE Daemon fast attacks. Seekers may be a little worse in general, but can be easily buffed by Grimour or Tainted Earth. Doggies can more reliably hurt vehicles, Bugs get a similar or better cover save and are more resilient. Reavers are an amalgamation of all the Chaos Fast Attacks worth a dam, but not quite as good as any of them in their given field. With this in mind, it's better to give Daemons something they lack, E.G a Ranged answer to high AV targets, rather then something they are already good at.

Hey Mark, I'm pretty sure I didn't see what you were playing mate, would love to see your list
Feel free to pop me a pm dude.
Thanks Alex, I will keep your ideas in mind...don't really know too much about what DE have to offer and quite like the feel of DE+Daemons, could make it look nice as an army rather than Nids lol.
