I... actually don't know. Help?

If you could take 1 (one) 10-man squad of any unit to fight against MEQ enemies, what would you take? I myself would take Chaos Marines with a Plasma Gun and a Rocket Launcher.

Also, Mark of Nurgle because T5? Frick yeah!

The only limitation is ten man, and it's all I get? Points no object as the requirement is squad size?

Ten assault terminatiors, I guess. No clue which codex of layout mind, I don't play marines much.

Thick armour and the entire squad has AP3 is the main point.

Ravenwing Black Knights. 10 man squad generally kills anything shy of the epic tough.

Nine Tyranid Warriors and a Prime. Deathspitters for everyone, a Venom cannon, the Reaper of Obliterax on the Prime and the rest get Bone Sword and Lash Whip. ID I+3 attacks in CC, 3 S5 shots before they get there.

Hey, it's a 10-man troop squad. Kinda. The Prime just has spikes.

Why are they terrible? They're the best troop choice I can come up with. Having a T5 or 6++ doesn't hurt either.

Conpare them to any other unit and they suck in comparison, they're just too expensive for what they can do

Yeah if points aren't an option this could get opened up. Can we include a dedicated transport?

10 mega nobz in a battlewagon. That should wreck just about anything you point them at.

I don't know the stats of a mega nob or the battle wagon but I'd feel confident putting up a 8 man Deathwing Black Knight unit in a LRC against it.

If I can get a transport, henchmen warbands.
The shootiest / best in-assault marine killers / cheapest warp charges / best cheap bolters / whatever you want them to be squad.

If I don't get a transport, deathwing.
They're obviously the best troops in the (noncompetitive) game, period (although points-wise, they are overcosted compared to GK termis).

I misunderstood you the first time you posted, as you have the names of some units mixed up.

Black knights are the elite ravenwing bikers with plasmaguns.

Deathwing knights are they guys you want in a LRC.

To be honest, against a MEQ I would rather take the bikes. 20 TL plasma shots is going to make marines disappear very quick.

For some reason I had it in my mind that they were both called Black Knights and just had the Raven/Deathwing prefix. My first post I meant the ravenwing black knights and mentioned the Deathwing Knights in response to the mega nobs. Sorry for my confusion.

On a serious note, either GK termies or wraithblades / guard - it would be impossible not to win.

I can see it now....Nids are now a collection of autonomous hive fleets there are multiple Hive Minds and they all war with one another in addition to everyone else. They speak to humans using telepathy, and they can now ally with Space Wolves as battle brothers, because reasons.
Tyranids talking to humans would be like you talking to your mashed potatoes or the probiotic in your kiefer drink. It is neither possible nor productive.
Inside my mind I pinched my nipples and savored his bitter silence.
