I was just wondering, if you have a HWT in an IG CCS, do you pay twice for the cost of Carapace Armor/Camo Gear for them, or do you only pay once as it's on a points per model basis, and a Heavy Weapons Team is considered one model, right? ( Correct me if I'm wrong about that part too. )

I'm not trying to get a free couple of points out of this, I'm just genuinely curious about the proper cost of these upgrades.

It's one model with 2 wounds, so one cost of carapace armor.

Alright yeah I guess that makes sense from a RAW perspective. Makes me picture two guys squeezed into one jacket though.

Naw, single model with 2 wounds. First guy tanks shots until his armor fails him. He dies...next dude picks up his armor and uses it until he dies.

Like that scene in Enemy at the Gates "One man gets a rifle, the other bullets. When the man with the rifle is shot, the other picks up the rifle and keeps shooting!"

As long as you don't take what they showed you at enemy at the gates and believe that's how it was in real life at the battle of Stalingrad then you're good

But why do they have to share? It doesn't say one vest per dude. Maybe they used a groupon and got a discount or something.
