I apologize if this thread belongs in another forum, but I think I've read the 7th edition BRB cover-to- cover twice now. Most of it nice and broken up well by those neat little stylized faces and robot- babies, but my dyslexia hits me like a truck when I try to read the USR compendium. What is the main reason for having Slow and Purposeful and Relentless be distinct USRs?

I went to Hershey Park in central PA this year, and I have to say I was more than a little disappointed. I fully expected the entire theme park to be make entirely of chocolate, but no. Here in America, we have "building codes," and some other nonsense about chocolate melting if don't store it someplace kept below room temperature.

You can't run (or equivalent 'fast' movements) if you're slow and purposeful, nor can you overwatch. Relentless doesn't alter these things

Slow and Purposefull will also effect an entire squad, where Relentless only applies to a model.

Relentless allows you to move and fire heavy weapons at full BS, while Slow and Purposeful basically does the same, except it doesn't allow to run in the Shooting Phase.

Think of it this way:
One covers the whole Unit but penalizes you for doing so
The other covers a single Model without penalty

8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures.
