Hi guys, i was wondering on others opinions on which mek guns are the best? I've used a kmk that managed to kill off a squad of broadsides turn 1(due to luck) but kannons seem useless with their short range. Thoughts?

I've been playing Kannons for a long time and think they work fine. If not playing a player with zero offensive units, there's always something to shoot at.

For some reason I hadn't gotten around to playing Lobbas until my last game. They were awesome, though. Really slaughters T3 models and does a pretty good job with T4 as well.

With the last codex I've also started taking a Traktor Kannon with my Kannons, which does its job well. It's of course somewhat occasional depending on what you face, though.

I like the lobbas as well if you have an empty heavy slot (as if.) They work great if your local meta is filled with tightly packed infantry blobs. Also great for killing those $%^& markerlight pathfinders. Make sure you have another plan for flyers.

I often field lobbas and kmk. Lobbas are devastating vs basically any infantry and work fine vs light vehicles. They generally kill way over their point cost if they have targets.

KMK are not bad. Not as killy as i'd like to but work fine vs medium vehicles, ground monsters and heavy infantry. For some reason people tend to be afraid of KMK. Probably due to profile. Even though lobbas kill more
