Again using the formation that allows re-roll to 1's on RP rolls for your troops.

HQ
Olord (WS/MSS/SW/PS/Re-Roll Relic)
Olord (WS/MSS/Phaeron/RO)

RC
10 x Lanceteks (2 x Solar Pulse, 1 x Gaze of Flame)

Troops
20 x Warrior

5 x Warrior
+ GA

5 x Warrior
+ GA

5 x Warrior
+ GA

5 x Warrior
+ GA

FA (60)
4 x Scarabs

HS (195)
3 x Tomb Spyder (3 x Fab Claw, 1 x Gloom Prism)

Should be pretty self explanatory on the assignments there. Super Brick gets both Olords and pulsteks (one of which has Gaze).

So, 20 Warriors with 57.5% RP rolls, lead by a couple of no bull gak taking Olords, and with 4 GAs backing them up which are in turn backed up by 3 Fab Claws and 2 Solar Pulses. All of which are housing 10 Lanceteks and a bucket full of Gauss.

I would love to see someone try to whittle that bad boy down, all the while getting hit with 10 lances to the face each turn.

Whilst I get that you're probably just leaving them in the Arks as extra guns, I feel obligated to point out regardless that the five man blobs get zero benefit from the reanimation buff as they're easy to wipe out at that size.

What I notice immediately here is that you don't have fearless on that big blob. All I need to do is start by killing six warriors in the shooting phase for a long shot at forcing them to fall back, then smashing whatever fast combat troops I can into them to make it quite a bit more likely in that phase.

I stopped running single big blobs of warriors after a few bad experiences. The worst was a dakkafex squad chasing them off board on turn one.

Well, of course they will be in the Arks more often then not, but with 5 Warriors and two ever living RCs you are going to get RP rolls, and even without the Res Orb you are getting a 5.6% increase to RP from the rule. Also, I'm relatively certain it counts for the RC guys, who are troops, and are also ever living.

As far as moral, I've never really had an bad issues with it with blobs. I tend to use mine pretty aggressively, so a random failed check doesn't cost me as much, although to be sure I don't have anything like a Mono in this list like I do in others, which is an easy way to redeploy them after and unlucky bad Ld roll.
