Well not starting the game so much as starting to play Guild as well.
So, when my Black Friday order gets here I'll have a sizeable guild force, and I'd like to play them a bit and take them to a tournament in the new year. I'll have Justice's and Lucius' old boxes, an austringer, ryle, riflemen, and Hoffmann's and Lucius' (again ha) new boxes. 2 questions. Are there any particular schemes that I can't cover with these masters? And what would be a good 30-40 dollar model to add to this since my brother wants to get me one for Christmas. Thats the pale rider/lone marshall price range if that helps. I'm seeing a lot of support for the Marshall at the moment.
Thanks guys

If you aren't afraid of hard to assemble metals, the peacekeeper is great for hoffman, and a great beatstick/tank in general.

Yeah, a scary melee piece other than Justice would go a long way towards filling out that set. Other than that, that looks like a pretty solid starting collection. The Ortegas add some nasty ranged options, but Dashel and the Riflemen should do very well for now.

Thanks for your help guys, I may go Peacemaker and Marshall. In the immortal words of that little mexican girl, why can't we have both. A melee threat is a good idea, and the Marshall will add a lot to a crew that I want to make of purely guardsman-looking models.

Unless you're having trouble with mobility, I'd suggest the Rider over the Lone Marshal, since the Rider gets heinously durable, while the Marshal is mostly just hit & run.

That's a good stable of masters and models to work from. Lady J is great for killy schemes, Hoff and Lucius are very versatile based on their crews.
To build upon those, I'd recommend Doppelganger and some Beckoners for Lucius, Ramos' box to dragoon into Hoffman's crew or something big and beefy like a Peacekeeper.
