Hey, I was wondering what people's experience was with Eldar Dark reapers (exarch with fast shot etc) in the wall of Matyr bunker with the lascannon upgrade?

What's their major weakness and how would they work in a competitive setting?

Not really killy enough but annoying to the enemy and if so, he will react accordingly.

Pretty decent. Don't forget the starfire missiles on the exarch and rest of the unit and the ammo catch and void shields for the bunker. It is a bit of a points sink but it does well against most enemies.

BTW you fire the starfires are non skimmer/flyer/FMC targets and let the lascannon snap fire itself at a different target. Most lists now have a flyer, skimmer, or FMC in them so it is rare to need to snap fire the lascannon. This setup is actually best at intercepting flyers and concentrating on skimmers and FMC most of the time so you don't waste your reaper squad.

Also don't forget the reapers can jump out of the building and move and shoot at full BS. This is helpful when something with a template or a lot of grenades gets close to the building. Also the building gives units behind it a 3+ cover save. This is extremely nasty on a waveserpent or two especially with holofields.

Cheers, I'll see how they preform, my aim is to make them discreet as possible. Top tier eldar armies tend to have a lot of non-vital support units, so they may proof useful.
