Hello Everyone,

So I've been doing some more cross-genre trading here lately. My current trade is involving me trading MY Heroclix for another person's sealed MTG and NIB Imperial Guard stuff as well as 2 Marine Tactical Squads.

Now here's the problem. Everyone knows that GW overprices stuff and any third-party retailer will give you 10-20% off GW's prices. But I can't find any website that shows these prices. Heroclix and MTG however, are usually sold at a discount because almost all of them are sold through 3rd party vendors who have to compete with Ebay and the rest of the secondary market.

Basically, I'm trying to liquidate my Heroclix collection into one of the following. A. Cash, B. Stuff that's Easier to sell for cash or trade, C. Stuff I actually want for my armies. In this case, I'm pretty trading for B, since I don't think I'll be able to sell the Imperial Guard NIB, but hopefully I can trade it off.

I went to an online retailer called Warstore, and I noticed they had a policy saying that GW's policies stated you can't list items in a Shopping Cart fashion. What's up with that? Is GW really trying to run a monopoly on there product?

GW is rather draconian with their online sales policy. There are many online retailers whose photos of GW products are just a text pic explaining GWs online policy.

You simply just take retail prices and subtract 20% off, that will get you the baseline for your trades. Although trades will vary from person to person and may not necessarily be reflected in the baseline. Factors like are they painted, is the paint job good or will they have to be stripped, etc can effect the price of the trade.

Warstore and Chaos Mail Order, as well as most online retailers have instructions on how to obtain excel spreadsheet with current prices and stock from them. You simply follow the instructions and fairly quickly you will get a response (providing it is during business hours). You can also call and request them to send you one.
