So I was reading about "Destroyed" state, when it hit me: Now we can use D-charges(and other weapons) to turn building in to obstacles for enemy.

Let say we have a console on a rooftop, our Tomcat comes from a side, plant charges, climb up, click a buton, climb down on other wall, plant charges, detonate.
Its long but at the end we just made objective, and deny it for enemy as this piece of terain is now Very difficult terrain and Saturation zone, even if our charges fail to destroy it, we most likely end up with Damaged state, witch grants Difficult terrain.

Since most buildings for Infinity are urban pieces, we have to take off 1 STR for 2 Inner walls or 3 STR for 2 Inner wals for Damaged or Destroyed.

Each Inner wall have 8ARM 0BTS 3STR, with D-charges we have good chance to make all 3 STR go away with AP+EXP DMG 14 boom.
As for striping 1 STR most of our Multi guns have anti-material DA, even DA CCW can damage wall.

With this we have yet another choice to make when we play and I love this game for it.
So what are your thoughts on this, is it worth orders spent or not?

PS. I already have a question, since Smart missiles in guided mode have Anti-material trait, can we FO a wall or a console and then just nuke it form our deplyment?

Probably, but better to tell the opponent that you are going to be destroying walls and launching missiles at them before starting the match.

The mental visual is cool. Rockets flying and blowing stuff up.

Gamewise im not so sure. Youd have to go over at start with opponent what is what in terms of structure. If you dont use most of the same terrain it can be a headache keeping track of it all. Your FO has to also have LoS to whatever building so your opponent can get normal ARO rolls agaisnt him. Normal rolls are very bad.

I could see making a special mission where one is attacking and one is defending. Then your trying to blow holes in the base to get in or something

I can see it not being included in tournaments for the exact reason you just said. Some factions are absurdly equipped to do things like that, and others not so much.

Or if we do see it used, I can see a lot of tournament boards start putting more objectives on ground level.

Well isnt it obvious that some faction may have more chances at this than others...just like any other strategy?

And its not hard for TO to primt small card saying: "Multitower(Inner wall, security gate, window)" next to a building.

We already did something like that(card with traits for that piece) at Team Championship and worked great.
