I... actually don't know. Help?

Me and a friend of mine have started to play a lot Tactical objectives lately. We've been using Cultist models as objectives, but that isn't really too fun. I've been thinking about taking a 25mm bases and gluing a D6 to it, simple as that. Any other ideas?

Well I'm not really great at it, but I've also started the same project, and what I've done is taken some terrain like rubble, etc. and put them on a 25mm, somewhere like on a box you paint a number to represent the objective number. When painted up it looks really nice.

There's no turning back... Triumph or oblivion.

I... actually don't know. Help?

I've been thinking about taking some Chaos and SM bitz, putting them in a bloody pile, and then mount a D6 on top of them, as a gnarly trophy.

Found them here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/48375726/resin-terrain-for-miniature-gaming

Well, I think you should just have fun with it. Try your ideas... you can always redo them later.

Personally I prefer markers that are a bit more interesting to look at.

Those crystals are really nice, granander! :-P

Here are some ideas:
Computer consoles with little radar dishes (call in reinforcements / air-stike)
Artillery
Hatch to Underground Bunker.
Other threads asking for objective markers

Yeah, I really liked them myself... just found them and I think I will need to make something similar myself.

I have been thinking about how to make them though. The only idea I can think of to get this clean surfaces on a transparent crystal is to cast it in clear resin. I have been thinking about getting into casting so this might be an interesting project.

or you could buy some quartz points at the local hippie shop? (not to discourage you from casting, I'm all for it!)

ebay has a bunch of them, might have to get more details

or you could make them out of sprues: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xri9k2_miniwargaming-warhammer-bases-crystals_fun

or buy some premade ones from armorcast and paint them

Just giving alternatives

Edit: Most objective bases look better with Necromundan Hazard Stripes around the edges :-D

Those are the old dreadnought sized bases they are on hah; the houses are control terminals from maxmini.
