Looking for any suggestions for custom built objectives I can mount on 40mm/60mm bases.

For Chaos Space marines, Alpha Legion if that helps.

I mean, there are the standards of downed allies, ammo dumps, computers, etc. Probably the coolest objective markers I've ever seen were just the standards, but they added a big neon arrow over the top pointing down. It looked like something out of a video game. Very cool.

I LOVE modelling objective markers.

A banner with the Alpha Legion's symbol would work.

Perhaps a Daemonic Portal, Fallen Chaos Marines, an Unholy Tome, a Daemonblade stuck in the ground... Quite a few ideas there. Also, here are a couple pictures. One of which has the "neon arrows" that noneoftheabove mentioned.
