Fulgrim-Sanguinius
Focus on culture and art as well as perfection and the appreciation of beauty.

Corax-Kurze
Reliance on stealth, use of lightning claws. Both are pallid and dark

Mortarion-Vulkan
Both are resilient and strong and have had to overcome adversity. They are the immovable objects in battle.

Guilliman-Horus
The most successful Primarchs, both have the emperor's favour above others. Both have strict combat doctrine.

Leman Russ-Angron
Both have anger issues and are often promoted into bezerker furies

Rogal Dorn-Perturabo
Both are incredibly stubborn and have a mastery of siege warfare

Lion El'Jonson-Alpharius Omegon
Both are enigmatic and have much less known about them then other Primarchs. They also have the 2 most secretive legions

I don't really see where Ferrus Manus, Lorgar, Magnus and Khan fit in.

I guess they stand apart from their brothers in that they have no equals..

Ferrus being the smith, Magnus the magi, Lorgar the priest.. Though I know nothing of the Khan.

An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded.

Reasons given are quite superficial imo.
Could easily swap in several other Primarchs for each listed there.
No one had a direct opposite, whilst not particularly indepth characters, each cant be boiled down into a line or two to match another.

There aren't really direct counterparts on each side of the Heresy, since when they were created fluffwise, the Primarchs weren't really all that well thought or fleshed out.

Yeah, they don't pair up like that. They're just 18 distinct characters, with some superficial overlap.
