Well hello.
The names Bigg Jai.

Welcome to my first ever project log.
With the new year fast approaching I have vowed to actually complete an army that I set out to do. I am one of those magpie hobbyist, anything new and shinny I want it. The goal is to get over 2000 points completely painted up and then actually play some games with it as well. I am going to use this dakka Dakka blog as an extra motivation to get it done.

As the name says it will be a blood angels army that I'm working on mainly but I will be showing other bits and bobs from other projects I'm working on.

So with the new release of the blood angels I asked for some bits for Christmas and bought the new codex. Read through the dex over Christmas and have written a few lists and noted down which models I want.
I have made up a successor chapter from the BA, they are the Angels Exemplar. Over the course of the blog I'm going to come up with some fluff for them as well as squad names etc.

With a goal set and Christmas here I received my wish list... thanks Santa.
I started with the Death storm box and put together some of the kits.

Here is my Death Company squad. I have magnetised their backpacks and jumppacks.

I have also put the dreadnought together. After my success with the magnets on the death company I thought why not try and magnetise the dreadreadnought.
I was surprised on how simple it was. The arms aren't magnetised as they sit in the sockets snugly. So it was the fronfront armour and Magna grapple that needed to be magnetised. With a couple of drill bits and some green stuff I magnetised the front. I have only used the librarian and furioso front armour as they will both be red so it would look strange for the death company one one there as well.

So what you guys think?
Cheers Jai.
