Hey guys, perhaps I am missing something, but this came up with the Helstrike Missiles in IA13:
Somehow, the Helstrike missiles aren't one-use in IA13 (I assume they should be) so someone argued that, as the Renegade Valkyrie has two Helstrike missiles in its profile, it could fire two every turn. While I don't think this was the intent, I started scouring the rulebook and could only fire two bits of rules applicable to this problem.
Page 41 of the small rulebook under Ordnance Weapons:
[...] Ordnance weapons cannot fire Snap Shots.[...]
Page 73 of the small rulebook under Vehicles & Ordnance Weapons:
[...] A vehicle that moved at Cruising Speed can still Snap Shoot Ordnance, but of course, cannot fire any Ordnance weapon that cannot be fired as Snap Shots.
Does this mean that the only time that second rule overrides the first one, is when a vehicle moves at cruising speed? So that Valkyrie can fire one Helstrike Missile when moving at combat speed (the second one can't be fired because after firing an Ordnance weapon, all other weapons fired have to be snap fired and Ordnance can't be Snap Shots) but when that same Valkyrie moves at cruising speed, it can suddenly fire the second Helstrike Missile as a Snap Shot?
