Well after (looking in my gallery 0,0 ; 2011) 3 years of this model being at an about 80% painted I got some inspiration to finish it up (mostly getting some SoB off ebay for my kill team, 12 SoB for $60, suck it GW) anyways here's the finished product.

and one wip shot of how it sat for 3 years

First off, kudos for finishing an old project! My Celestine is only primed and still needs attached to her base I think it's a solid, tabletop-plus job, but I think it needs a bit more contrast. The large white cloak as a backdrop sorta washes out the mini. A darker color like the green you used on the loincloth might have been a better choice.

I agree that the white cloak doesn't provide enough contrast. Good place to continue the green IMO. Might just be me, but I wouldn't continue the fig color on the base ring. Seems to draw the focus away from the saint. Stylistic choices that you may not care about. Love seeing painted Saints, nice job!

A ton of armies and a terrain habit...

Repainted the back cloak to an equivalent green of the robes. Did some touch up work after I took these images, mostly white for the purity seal paper on the 2 cherubs on the back cloak.

That second pic looks a lot better. The contrast between the white and the green is much better than just straight white for the cloak. Great job! Love the basing, as well.

Nice job, fox. Good of you to take some constructive criticism and run with it!
