Hi. I am hoping (or maybe dreading) to play against a full 2k knight army soon and i am looking for advice to deal with such a thing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
As far as i know he has 2 knight errants, 2 knight paladins and 1 forge world knight that does not have a close combat D Weapon.
My choices are full Eldar Wraith. Smother him in wrathcannon and flamers (short range though) and monstrous creatures (i have a wraithknight, 2 lords and a wraithseer).
My second option is to use my Elysians, fly him out of charging me (this would also take his blasts out of the game). I would run vendettas filled with melta vets. This army would not quite equal 2k so some of my new blood angels for more melta would be possible.

Flyer Spam with Elysians.
Errants and Paladins can't even target flyersUse Lascannons from the valks/vendettas and the inherent mobility of the flyer to focus down the FW knight, then drop melta/demo vets to help with the others.
Drop Sentinels with MMs are also great for trying to drop Knights. Here's a quick list I threw together to help screw over Knights:

Rule #1 is Look Cool.
Rule #2 is Do Cool S*%* Even If It's Tactically Inadvisable
Winning is something like Rule #17.

I only own 3 vendettas. The most recent rules for the vendettas are from the codex so j consider the fairest way to the play them is at 170 points a model.
My Elysian list is currently from IA4. So 5 man squads. Also with a pair of sky talons and Taurus venators, with 3 tarantulas. I do have a punisher vulture which i could modify to lascannon or missile version for some anti armour

The whole point of using a different faction is that pricing changes. The Elysians are an air calvalry force, which means they'd have better access to vehicles than regular IG. That's why they have a lower points cost in a Elysians list

The only eldar lists that can nuke Knights are Serpent Spam and Fire Dragon Spam.
What psychic powers really affect knights?

I am a chaos space marine player and after reeading all the suggestions given, you should have nothing to worry bout as you are spoiled with 130pt vendettas, veteran squads, serpent spam, etc...
Chaos has to spend 140 pts to get a tri las pred with only 1 of the cannons tl and it dies to knights easy.

So, going unbound this is what I have so far, this is all based on the models I own and what I can reasonably proxy...
Executioner Squad, Flak Armour, Frag/Krak Grenades. 4xMelta Guns. Sergeant with Chainsword/Las Pistol IA 4 2nd Ed
Valkyrie, Lascannon, 2xHellstrike Missiles, Searchlight, Extra Armour IA 4 2nd Ed

Valkyrie, Lascannon, 2xHellstrike Missiles, Searchlight, Extra Armour IA 4 2nd Ed
Vulture, Heavy Bolter, Twin-Linked Lascannon, 2xHellstrike Missiles, Searchlight, Extra Armour IA 4 2nd Ed
Tauros Venator, Searchlight, Twin-Linked Lascannon, 2xHunter-Killer Missiles, Camo Netting IA 4 2nd Ed
Tauros Venator, Searchlight, Twin-Linked Lascannon, 2xHunter-Killer Missiles, Camo Netting IA 4 2nd Ed
Vendetta, 3xTwin-Linked Lascannons, Extra Armour, Searchlight AM Codex
Vendetta, 3xTwin-Linked Lascannons, Extra Armour, Searchlight AM Codex
Tarantula, Twin-Linked Lascannon, Camo Netting IA 4 2nd Ed
Tarantula, Twin-Linked Lascannon, Camo Netting IA 4 2nd Ed
Aegis Defence Line, Comms Relay Stronghold Assault
Death Company, 2xPower Fists, 5xInferno Pistols, Jump Packs BA Codex
DC Dreadnought Pair Power Fists, Melta Gun/Storm Bolter, Magna Grapple, Drop Pod BA Codex
My combat numbers means that I have 3 Valks with 12 Melta guns coming in on turn 1 along with the Dreadnought. The Tauros will most likely outflank and the DC will Deep strike.
My first turn number should be enough to hope the Vendettas arrive in time, the Comms relay (held by the individuals sentries) will help with. I also decided to pay the IA4 "Tax" so that my Valks, Vulture and Tuaros are all BS4
