I was thinking that Shooty terminators should have special issue ammunition just like stern guard vets do. They are also veterans after all. I feel like this would make Shooty terminators actually worth taking. What do you think?

With Chaos, Tzeench would probably turn your hands, feet and face into
scrotums, complete with appropriate nerve endings. Then Khorne would
force you and all your friends to fight to the death using your new
scrotal appendages. Once they get tired of that, you get tossed to
Slaanesh who <censored by order of the Inquisition>, until you finally
end up in Nurgle's clutches and he uses you as a loofah.

It would be a big step forward, but on its own, just take Sternguard in a pod instead.

I am the Hammer. I am the right hand of my Emperor. I am the tip of His spear, I am the gauntlet about His fist. I am the woes of daemonkind. I am the Hammer.

No, I don't think they should have it as it really is the Sternguard 'thing'.No I don't think it's neccessary as they are fine as they are, and not meant to be a 'shooty' unit so much as an assault unit that can shoot. Yes, I use them as they are and they are fine.

So Space Marines need the "easier button" now? Before you had to choose if you wanted Krack or Frag or what ever the different type missles were, and now you can field both.

So now Terminators need it easier? How about fixing the game and point costing everything properly before we start adding stuff to make something "worth it"? All this will do is just make things even more "unworthy" it for other units.

TL;DR Fix the rules and game first before adding things to something supposedly broken.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

I don't think this'll address termies as they'll eaither make sternguard useless for the points or still be over priced.

the problem with terminators is similer to the problem many people have with tac marines, except... more so.

you're paying a lot of points for durability, and it's questionable how important durability is, AND how effective it is on the "modern battlefield", I suspect termies would be reasonably decent in a battlefield situation where people aren't chucking around AP2 pie plates like crazy. they'd also proably be a little more popular if power fists where an OPTION not a requirement.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two
