My friends and I would like to think that the release of the Vietnam era books, battlefront is " playtesting" the fan base for responses about "skirmishes". Think about it. Late war WW2 Pacific was a lot of island hopping and naval maneuvering. To make fun games at 15mm scale they had to do something about ambushes and player views of the table. If your opponent knows that there are nests set up with guns in them , he will move to avoid them. The current rules for ambush are good. But the rules in Tour of Duty are EXCELLENT.
What do you guys think?
