I’m doing a slow growth painted league. The first month FOC is min 1 HQ and troop with and option 3+ troops and 1+ elites, fast and heavy. On a 4'x4' table.
HQ:
Spiritseer

Troop:
5X Wraithguard, Wraithcannon, Wave Serpent TL Scatter Lasers, Shuriken Cannon

Heavy
Wraithlord 2 Flamers, Scatter Laser, warlord.

I expect to be placed in the top bracket so there will be no soft matches. Have a good idea what to expect from the nids, orks, marines and GK’s. But there will be a dark elder and tau player and I’m not sure what to do against these army’s at such low points. I can’t even guess what their list will look like.

Any tactical ideas.

PS. This will be my first game with eldar.

Any particular reason for Iyanden? (Not saying it's bad just asking). Which powers will you be after?

I would drop the Shuriken Cannon on the WS and both the flamers for another long-range gun on the WL maybe, he's a bit slow to be using them.

Against DE the WS will be awesome, the Serpent Shield will annihilate their light vehicles. Everything else may suffer a bit to their poison shots as you only have 10 wounds worth of models on the table.

What kind of missions are you playing? Kill points this looks good as you only have four, but any of the five objective missions may be tricky, especially if the WS dies.

I picked Iyanded just because of the paint scheme and the tragic story. Also stuck with the unit choices because that’s what is setting on the shelf, I don’t think I’ll have time to order something new and get it painted and ready in 2 weeks. =(

The flamers are free on the wraithlord so even dropping both the wave serpent weapons won’t net me another scatter laser. Maybe 2 shurikan cannon?

I’ll probably role for something good on telepathy (take phychic shriek ) then voice of twilight for battle focus.

The mission will be Big guns never tire with a Relic… so yeah it’s going to be rough. It’s also a 4’x4’ table so 36” weapons are long range weapons here.
