I know I haven't been here long and I may have already made a few enemies as my less than charming personality can clash with others rather easily but I need to post this in the hopes that someone out there can help me.

I have stage 5 renal failure. I am dying. I need a kidney. Badly.

I've been on dialysis for five years now and the statistics are starting to not be in my favor for survival.

My blood type is O neg and for those of you not up on your blood protein facts it means while I can give blood and parts to anyone I cannot receive parts or blood from anyone other than another type O. Add to that the fact that I'm under 50 and they want the kidney to come from someone who is under 40 and I've got a long wait for a random cadaver kidney.

A live donor would be best.

I live in South Dakota and can't offer anything of value for the donation. I can't even pay for travel expenses.

Thank you

I'm a kidney transplant recipient (though of course from the UK so the experience won't be identical).

Live donor, from my dad, and before I was on dialysis.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to answer as best I can.

I'm a donor... so, I know a bit about the process.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Thank you for all that. Helps to know I'm not the only one sometimes.
