On page 159 of the BRB, the "Blind" rule is discussed.

Does a unit roll blind checks (assuming the attacks hit), every assault phase, even if the unit is effected by blind?

I ask this because if you cause blind during your opponents assault phase, the effect will last for two assault phases after the cause of it. In those two assault phases, do you also gain the chance to increase the duration of blind?

Being already affected by Blind doesn't stop you rolling further tests if hit in another phase.

Examples:
1) A unit is hit by a shooting attack with Blind, fails the test and suffers the consequences. It is then charged in the assault phase, hit by another attack with Blind and fails that test too - the unit is still affected for the same duration ("until the end of their next turn"), so the second Blind makes no difference.

2) Unit B is hit by a Blind in the opponent's assault phase and fails the test. The combat continues in the next player turn and the unit is again hit and fails the test - the Blind effect would have ended at the end of that turn, but the second hit means the unit has to wait an entire extra Game Turn for the effects to wear off.
