Dang, not even tesseract vault for necrons? Hhhrrrmm. I'm tempted, I'm just not a fan of "allow X; deny Y", LoW lists like the one in the link. Either allow all of the super hvy/GCs or none at all (yes, even IKS and special ICs). Or at the bare minimum just disallow d attacks.

I could probably get 3 to sign up, potentially 7 if they like the limitations.

What is that about 45 mins from Manhattan?

Ps You didn't list the max amount of allied detachments. Or did you lump them in with the formation/dataslate limit? Plus what's the take on massive forts?

We're following the LVO format exactly. So we'll use the ITC faq, the allowed LoWs found in the link, and the detachments.

For an example, all detachments are 0 - 1 total, with a max of two sources. This means 0-1 CAD, 0-1 Ally, 0-1 Codex specific detachment (such as Grey Knight strikeforce, Dark Eldar Realspace Raiders, etc), 0-1 fortification, or 0-1 Lord of War.
You can make your army with 2 of these, the exception being you can include a fortification and/or a lord of war and not have it count as a source.

Example:

Eldar Cad
Tau Ally
Imperial Bastion
Lynx LoW

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. The LVO / Frontline Gaming link above also clarifies most of the things.

So if I am not mistaken I cannot take my fire raptor due to this tit for tat nonsense - even if it is games workshop / forgeworld approved... bah.

Yes the fire raptor has rules as well as the Sicaran tank - its in the latest Forge world book (or second latest) about the Vehicles of the Space Marine chapter. No experimental rules for the Fire raptor or actually most of the space marine vehicles now.

So does that mean it is allowed - I tried to find the forge world rules but could not find them on the site.

Im not connected with the people running this event or the event that they are taking the rules from to practice for.

But I am attending both events. It is my impression that then you can indeed take the fire raptor as it is 40k approved. As stated above... where I think you are getting confused is they list the link next to that line. THe only list in that link designates which super heavies lords of war from forgeworld are allowed.

SO in that case you should be all good to go. Certainly Ive heard of people gearing up their sicarins... so if its similar to that you should be ok.

Yeah the site is a little confusing in that regard so sorry for the confusion. You may indeed use your fire raptors as long as you can provide the most current rules/models for them.

Also as per LVO, we will be playing that 2+ rerollable saves will be 2+ followed by a 4+. In addition invisible units will be hit on 5's in combat and blast weapons may target them. This is not my decision, simply a byproduct of following the LVO format. I personally am getting affected by both rulings as I will be playing daemons, so I'm not being bias at all! Sorry for any inconvenience this causes your planning.

Just in case anyone attending was worried it might get cancelled because of the weather, we just wanted to let you guys know that the tournament is still a go for today!

TOGIT will be open and Nick has confirmed that enough people will be there to hold the tournament.

See you all there!
