Hi all,

I work offshore and travel a lot, I'm looking for a good quality smaller replacement for my standard GW carry case as it's far too large to take away with me.

Ideally I'll be taking 1 or 2 squads of 10/12 and some paints as I know my models would actually get some attention whilst I'm away!

Can anyone help me out?

KR Multicase do some nice cases too, ranging from heavy duty card cases,through some styles of bag, upto metal flight cases with custom foam layouts for what ever you may need to protect

This is what I use and I've been very happy with them.

A pistol case will likely be much cheaper than any hobby-specific option and equally, if not more, protective. Plano is a popular brand stateside, but there are likely options wherever you happen to be. Plenty of room for a dozen or two models and some painting supplies (there are also two-gun models, if you need a bit more room, that are still smaller than a GW case) and generally comes stuffed with a combination of 'egg carton' and 'pluck' foam, for customization.

Thanks very much! I have checked these out and they look great. I grabbed myself a 32 minature 'MINI' case, should fit well in the main luggage bag.

I second the Pistol case suggestion. I have one for such use. (I also use one to transport my ipad mini and it's accessories)

I agree with KR Multicase as they are quite sturdy,
I've never heard of Pistol cases so I can't give you any info about that.

If you're in a cheap DIY mood, grab a small case from walmart and a foam pad bed top, slice to shape and you can make as many layers as fit the box of choice.
