Subject: Does a Chaplain have to keep his Crozius?

As posted above, in the DA codex, it says a Chaplain in Terminator Armor may take a relic and replace it with one of his weapons. If the Mace of Redemption is taken, can I swap it for his Crozius and keep the Stormbolter? The only reason I ask is all the models GW sells are modeled with the Crozius, even the Chaplain with Powerfist.

Yes a Crozius is a weapon. It has a weapon profile and is listed under weapons not sure why you'd think it isn't. The models GW makes has no direct correlation to the options available to that model.

yeah feel free to replace it. especially as if you replace it with a relic mace, you can just dress it up as a fancy relic Corzius on the mini!

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two |

Excellent. I didn't see any rule saying no, but I wanted to make sure, as having both the Mace and a Crozius seems like a waste.

Well, if it replaced the storm bolter, it would be wielding two non-specialist melee weapons, which would grant an extra attack, right?

Yep. Stormbolters aren't pistols, so no +1 attack
