How should I resolve hits with soulshrive. For those who don't know is a piece of wargear from the Iyanden Suplement which has S3 AP2, mastercrafted and spirit stealer(add +1 to the strength for every unsaved wound caused earlier in the game up to 10).
-Resolving every hit individually and adding +1 for the next hit if the previous one was an unsaved wound.
-Resolving all hits simultaneously with the initial strength and apply the +X strength after all wounds have been resolved.

By the way has any of you ever used it in a list? I'm thinking it sounds a little bit crazy, if you get lucky at the beginning you can snowball pretty fast and end up with a puny little space elf hitting harder than a bloodthirster.

All to-hit rolls, and all to-wound rolls are simultaneous at any given Initiative step (at the initial strength), so you apply the strength bonus in subsequent rounds.

As above. The "earlier in the game" is the clue - if you had some way of him making attacks at say I6 then at I5, the I5 would benefit from any strength gained at I6.

OK thanks this kinda of balances it, still it looks pretty awesome for 30 points, definitively better than any weapon choice from the standard remnants of glory.

A bit like the Ork weapon which also changes S (and AP even) you need to kill chaff first, to get your strength up, THEN you can go for the big stuff
