I've got an X-Wing epic game coming up on Sunday (Hopefully I'll remember to take pictures) and I figured I'd have a go at making a few fleets.

I'm trying to balance the fleets pretty much between, "what will be kinda neat and effective" and "what haven't I actually had the chance to use much yet (or at all)." Unfortunately the last time I got to play much X-Wing was shortly after the Imperial Aces came out. So, I've got a fair bit of catching up to do.

So, we might be playing either 300 points, or 400 points.

I have the feeling there's a few tweaks I can make to make the fleet a bit better (The Outrider could do with some more work for example.) What do you all think?

Right now, corvettes are surprisingly weak against fighter attacks, a tie bomber wing or tie swarm will wreak havoc.
Determination is better than ptl on leebo- remember he's got a much better chance of pulling a crit he can ignore.

Ooh determination, nice shout. I'll have a go at that.

I know the huge ships aren't the most effective thing in the game, however I've had a lot of success previously with these two ships pairing together. The transport lays on up to 3 stress, then immediately afterwards the corvette puts on 3 damage. And, of course the ships are still stressed. Hopefully combining that with LT Blount should ruin a TIE swarms day

Looks reasonable.

Capital ships are tough as old boots as long as the energy holds out - yes, they're vulnerable to heavy strike squadrons but that depends on whether your oppnent has actually brought one....

I've seen a turbolaser-heavy corvette rip up less manouvrable ships, but I'll admit to not seeing a quad-laden flak ship used much. It should hurt like a bugger.

Slicer tools are a nice idea - I might suggest that if you've got them, then maybe roll with the stress concept - fletchette torpedoes on Hobbie/Corran are nice and cheap.

Concur that Leebo with Determination is a brillian combination.
