Howdy everyone, this Blacksunshine, a couple of days of ago I tried to enter in a tournament that was going to be held at Middle Georgia Con, but to my surprise I recent a letter stating that i was ban from the event due to an incident that occur last year. Now, neither the TO or the players never address the issue(s), until now. here is the letter that i received.

Hello Mr. Woody,

My name is Bryan and I am the 40k tournament organizer for MGA Con this year. I regret to let you that we cannot accept your registration this year for the tournament. Me and my team attended last years tournament and we witnessed a few incidents that had us concerned: rules being misinterpreted, misplaying, and player abuse. While we do expect these mistakes and "every has bad days", the frequency of this was concerning. Because of this and our goal to create a friendly tournament scene, we wont allow any players that abuse others to return. This does not extend to the other events of MGA, simply our 40k GT and apoc event. You are welcome to attend any of out other events and tournaments. I am sorry if this causes any issues with you travel planning and arrangements. Have a great day and again i am sorry for any trouble this may cause.

after receiving this letter, I contracted the organizers to get a straight answer. Because i was truly dumbfounded once I read this email. He contracted the 40k TO. The TO stated that i was a cheater and i cuss at 11 year old and felt threaten......huhhhh. Now that threw me in a loop. Now if you know me, i have traveled to several major tournaments throughout the years.. First i don't cheat, i don't need to cheat in order to win. Second I do cuss, but not to a 11 year old. ( plus if it the same kid, i showed him how to play or make better decision).

Even though I was in the wrong or not, I fully apologized. ( I'm not going to argue about something that happen a year ago)
so this was the next email i received.

[b]Mr. Woody, while you didn't pay me personally, I do thank you for your apologies. I'll relay that to the others on my team. Me and you did meet at last year's MGA Con and I do remember the incident. This is not personal but a decision made as a group. This is just a one year ban. You are welcome to join us next year in any events we hold. You should be receiving a full refund from our Con organizer. I'm sorry again for any inconvenience this may have caused. Have a great day and we look forward to seeing you at future events. [i]

So, I never meant or played against this person and he still want to ban me. What was left out....or not mention was a local group called Team Bird Dog informed them or me and ask them to ban me as well. This group has a personal vendetta against me and that another story.

Now i'm not upset at all, but i'm upset that i never knew and it wasn't handled in person at the event a year ago. So me and my guests have cancel our rooms.

Obviously, the con is being rigged and they're fixing it to make sure. Those guys can say whatever to the store owner. You're not there, so it's obviously one sided. A ban for cheating or disruptive, I can understand. But this gak screams of rigged con.

Why do you think that anyone cares about this?

No it doesn't. I doubt the OP is such an amazing 40k player that they have to be banned or they'll win, there are much less obvious ways to rig an event, and the OP is banned from the (presumably very casual) Apocalypse event as well as the competitive tournament.

I suppose the question is, what do you hope to accomplish by posting this? You got banned by being a cheater and for cursing at a child, and although your post denies it, it really doesn't come off as believable. Not to mention, but the part where you say "if it's the same kid..." Really really makes it seem like you know exactly what they're talking about, and you're tryin to spin it.

So, again, and from someone who has no dog in this race, but is merely a curious outsider, what did you hope this would accomplish?

I don't cuss out children at any 40k events. Now begin call a cheater and cheating are two different things. any one call you out....Bi'los.....i can call you a cheater, but are you or are you not? i don't know. Plus there was only one child there so it wasn't that hard to remember one kid.

I think the OP's story has been adequately shared, but unless the tourney organizers want to post here, I can't see this thread accomplishing much else. If any of the affected parties have more to add, please PM me to unlock, otherwise I will leave it as-is.
