The list looks (really) good, but I'd be hesitant to call it a 'casual' list - this of course is an entirely different line for every group of players though.

What disciplines are you thinking of using with the Farseer? The Warlock is mostly there for Conceal I presume?

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of rolling runes of fate to try for fortune guide and doom. Not sure wat else. Are the new telepathy powers good?

Yes the warlock is there for conceal. Is he worth the 50 points or should I swap him for more bodies?

Telepathy is quite reasonable - Shrouding essentially gives the same benefit that Conceal does, except you can place him behind a Wave Serpent to give it an obnoxious 2+ Jink save, Psychic Shriek can be devastating against certain sorts of units, and Invisibility is downright broken.

Given the Serpents and Knight, everything that is S4 or lower will be aimed at the Jetbikes - which means the small unit will need to try and block Line of Sight as much as possible, and the large unit will benefit greatly from having both Conceal and Fortune for a 2+ re-rollable. Both the Wraithknight and the Firee Dragon have effective guns that benefit from Guide, and Doom is often brilliant. But generally I'm less thrilled with any of the other Runes powers.

Cheers, telepathy certainly looks good, maybe I'll do 2 rolls on it and 1 on fate.

Been checking out the new wraithguard and it looks solid, esp with that new spiritseer. But seems to duplicate the role of the fire dragon somewhat.

Whats everyone's views on taking wraithguard vs fire dragon?

I prefer Fire Dragons due to their price and roles. They serve the same role in my army (MC/Tank busting) and both do it quite efficiently but Fire Dragons are cheaper. Just don't put them in harm's way unless you intend to sacrifice them.

With the new rules for vehicles, you can capture objectives with the wave serpents so you may not need to bring the embarked units into play some games. So having a cheaper unit inside allows for more points elsewhere.

Then again, if you want a more 'casual' list then bring whichever one you think is cooler. With a Wraithknight, 2 Wave Serpents and Jetbikes you're already well outside the realm of 'casual' imo.

I also second firedragons over wraith guard, and I would recomend removing the warlock in favor for more jetbikes.
With the just one warlock its so hard to get off powers, and one perils and poof there goes 50 points and an entire unit (Even if its a 1 man unit).

I do drugs.
Mostly Plastic Crack, but I do dabble in Cardboard Cocaine.

Wraithguard only have the same role as Dragons if you're using the wraith cannons. Using WG with D-scythes melt infantry. Great for taking infantry in a defensive position and then taking their objective. Also, they're tougher than Dragons but obviously come at a price increase. Don't forget they can be troops as well.

Personally, for a 1k list, I would drop the Knight in favor of more bodies but I assume you want to use your big expensive model. If you did, I would take more bikes and a larger Avenger squad with lances on their Serpent (to make up for the loss of AT from dropping the Knight).
