3 questions:
1. If I have a Monolith can I use it's special ability to teleport a squad of warriors (who are holding the relic), and ensure those warriors will still be holding the relic? Or will it get dropped?
2. Same question but with attached Veil of Darkness Cryptek
3. If i voluntarily embark some relic-holding warriors in a nightscythe, and then force the flyer to crash by moving too fast - will my warriors go into ongoing reserves still holding the relic (thus allowing on my next turn those warriors to potentially arrive from my board edge) or will the relic appear beside the crashed flyer? (and if so where beside the flyer).
Bonus question: if the answer to 3 is 'ongoing reserves' and the game ends with the relic in ongoing reserves does that count as neither team scores points?

1) They got removed from the table. Drop the relic
2) As above
3) I thought this was answered - relic lays on the table, forlorn?

3) Technically the relic would have to move over 6" to be off the table so that would trigger the drop it rule

3) How are you embarking the warriors on the Night Scythe?

Good point well made- the current necron FAQ has no ability for th warriors to embark, just disembark.

The night scythe entry in the NECRON Codex allows units to embark.... Or am I missing something?

You're not missing anything, the codex explicitly tells you you can embark when in base contact and the portal thing is the access point.
You just might get a few picky people trying to claim, despite explicit codex permission, you can't embark because you aren't hovering.

"Change access points to 1: The base of the model"
Okay then, you can board it from any angle now.

No, it doesn't. That entire paragraph has been errataed away. Now it simply says Access Point: 1 (the base of the model).
Which means that since it's Zooming, you can't embark.

Ok, I can kind of see the argument for that it's not hovering.
As for the faq, it's just an extra rule that deals with units disembarking and shooting. Nothing to do with embarking.

Unfortunately, this is the current restriction.

Oh, a stealth nerf based on nitpicking exact wording? Woulda been helpful to actually spell that out rather than asking me to check.
Meh, just use the access point.

Ok, just read a few older threads on the subject.
Let's hope the new Codex clarifies it.

Nitpicking? Please, what rule allows you to ignore the Zooming restriction?
See, I try to play by what's known as "The Rules" and not "Things we make up because we feel like it."

Frankly I'm hoping it just plain lets me hover.
Not because of transport, how often are you gonna waste two turns trying to manoeuvre your warriors across the board?
More because fixed zooming flyers are a giant hassle for both players. Hard to consistently position and aim to maximum effect for the controller, will never hop down out of Skyfire territory for the enemy.

I like my Avenger Strike Fighter as is... The dislike is specific and probably contextual

Meh, there's not really any tangible benefit to not having an option.
If you don't have a reason to stop zooming, don't.
