I'm not a lover of the Skaven (they didn't click with me like they have with other fans) but I loved painting this miniature. It has lots of textures to play around with and is very easy to assemble. Maybe a model to ear mark for a deluxe Warhammer Quest set?

It's very well painted, though I'm not sure I like the contrast between the gray-blue armor and the skin color.

Right guys, part two:

Thanquol and Boneripper

Wit the vermin lord.

I stuck with the turquoise and red/pinkish skin combination as I find it very striking. But in response to those who didn't like the bright clean lines of the vermin lord I scuffed up Boneripper a little. The Metallics are warn with rust and oxidation, the armour is chipped and dirty. I shaded the turquoise with sepia ink to give a dirtier appearance and I toned down the extreme contrast when highlighting the turquoise. It's not as sensational looking at it from 5 years away but it is a far more subtle paint job.

Enjoy and let me know your thoughts! There are more rats coming up this weekend and I'd like your input.

Would you like to see the fists of fury version?
