so ive seen afe pics floating around about some of the differences in scale from the lotr line to the hobbit, one in particular that thorin is a head taller than a dwarf warrior. and one ofhis companions taller than an elf of the second age,
now maybe im just being silly, but im almost inclined to not buy peices such as thrain if he is much taller than my lotr dwarf warriors
what hobbit minis have you found that are bigger than our beloved lotr minis?
and whats your feelings on this?

Having now got some Hobbit Dwarves alongside Thorin's Company, it's not as bad as some people suggest. The only noticably taller ones are Dwalin and Thorin, who are incidentally almost as tall as some men/Orcs in the films. Others, like Gloin and Kili, for example, fit in perfectly with The Hobbit Dwarves. The Hobbit Grimhammer Dwarves are a smidge shorter than the old LotR Dwarves, but Thrain and Thror look like they'd fit in fine with either.

If you want, I can get some scale shots of Thorin and friends next to some (new and old) Dwarf minis?

It's also worth noting the finecast Thorin and dwalin are to a more accurate scale than those from Goblin Town.
