Hello all, I am looking to convert up some Pegasus for my dark elf army, I know there's the bretonnian ones out there but not sure how well they would work, anyone have any good suggestions or have done so themselves?
3rd party pegs would work aswell if they look the part
The only tricky part of using Bret Peggies is removing the Bret iconography.
I've seen a variety of other conversions involving Dark Rider, Glade Rider, and even Chaos Knight steeds with Vargulf Wings. Even seen some very nice (but slightly more extensive) conversions using White Lions from the chariot (as a baby Manticore) and Cold Ones (as a smallish dragon).
Druchii.net has quite a few of them to check out in various P&M threads.
Pretty much as TDA said, Vargheist wings are perfectly sized for it. Only difference is I used the horses from the scourgerunner chariot, as they have plain empty saddles, rather than the fixed, sculpted-on leg sections
