Hi, my name is Tussock and I'm an orkaholic...
It started a few years ago when a friend of mine gave me a handful of 40k Orks from the Assault on Black Reach box set... I wasn't really into orks but I dug out my ancient Tamiya oil paints and began to paint them anyway... They turned out rather well so I purchased a few more from trade me, poorly painted and assembled I stripped and re-modeled them. This continues to this very day and I now have around 150 orks of various size and 'specialty'.
My Ork horde is a 'dread mob' - 'green tide' combo with 10 Deff Koptas on the flanks. So far it's been very effective on the table and my warboss is yet to die in over 10 matches... Although he has fled the field more than once
The near total self belief in their invincibility and the incorruptible staunch-ness of the Ork inspired me to find out more about Ork Kultur and models.
I have mostly finished a kustom stompa... It's table-able... But I fear it'll never be proppa done until I've figured out how to attach every last scrap of gubbins from my bits box to it!
