Hello

i am currently assembling a knights of blood army, and i am going to be painting the figures and shoulder pads etc myself, but i need to find someone who can paint the logo for me on the already red (painted) shoulder pads

any takers?

Why not do it as a 2-stage decal?

Edit:
2 Decals; 1 the shield, 1 the blood drop, swords and shield outline again.

Paint and gloss the model.
Apply the shield, paint the inside light grey, highlight with white. Decal acts as lines to paint in. Gloss again.
Apply the 2nd decal so it aligns with the first. Gloss again, then flatcoat. Done.

Perhaps not as fast as freehand, but far more consistent.

Mate, have a crack yourself. It's actually not that difficult. This was my first and only attempt:

It just needed a bit of planning and some care.

Have you given it a try at all? You could paint a base red and then do a few test runs on that. If you still don't feel confident about doing it then look for someone else to handle it for you.

both interesting ideas

...but...as stated in the title and post, this is a thread looking for a talented painter that wants to take on a commission, not a post asking for advice on how to do it :/

once again, if any painters that want a smallish commission

please respond and lets sort something

I could produce the decal sheet for you, but I wouldn't want to take it on as a booking.

As a job what you're asking for is troublesome - it involves shipping painted and assembled miniatures TWICE, meaning that potentially damage will need to be repaired by the commission studio on receipt, before stuff is repacked and shipped back. Big PITA.

You're probably better off looking for someone very local to where you are if you really don't want to do it yourself.

That's an odd coincidence... Looks like someone posted a Knights of Blood decal sheet on B&C a couple days ago.

Not the way I do them. The big red border precludes using them on any sort of blended surface. Actually a bit poor.
