Can a unit of warbikers use Jink against Thunderfire Cannon?

Yes, jink is a cover save from any angle and distance so the barrage doesn't change anything.

but cover saves against a barrage weapon are taken from the centre of the blast marker so its very unlikely they'll get one unless they are moving along trenches or through area terrain.

Facing doesn't affect Jink.

If the thunderfire cannon targets the jetbikes, the jetbikes get to jink.
Let's assume that they're in the open. The cover save is determined from the centre of the blast. That means they don't get any save from the scenery. However, they still get the cover save from Jink. As Kaela_Mensha_Khaine and Hanskrampf said, the facing won't effect it.


Note that this all assumes that the thunderfire cannon isn't firing that "Ignores Cover" volley. The save granted by jink is a cover save, and so is ignored by "Ignores Cover".

Most bikers Have a better armour save, and I believe the TFC's highest ap vaule is 5.

Thanks. My knowledge of the Thunderfire Cannon is limited to "it's that gun that can do horrible things to much of my army"
